Selfridges Building, Birmingham

Before the interview at Birmingham City University, I had a latte at Starbucks and a quick self-guided tour of the £60 million landmark Selfridges Building, which is approximately a 10 minute walk from Campus.

Designed by Future Systems in the Blobitecture style, it has a steel framework with 15,000 anodised aluminium discs mounted on a blue background as the facade and is deemed a major contribution to the regeneration of Birmingham.
