Below is a set of my own independent professional projects I have undertaken under my own banner and not as part of academic or practice work.

Green Roof New Build Garage

The client wanted a detached Double Garage with a Wildflower Green Roof according to the construction specification of Sky Garden and to these requirements:

- Zinc Roof pitch of between 4 – 10 deg to the rear of the garage.

- The overall height ideally needed to be kept below the sitting room window from the main dwelling.

- 2 x electric up and over doors (7’ 6” x 7’) fitted on inside face of garage door opening (NOT in garage door opening)

We needed to allow some clearance to the rear and right side of garage as wall would butt up to sleeper retaining walls.

Half glazed hardwood door 32” x 80” to left side of garage as close to the front of the garage as possible.

They required full plans (including load calculations for building control) and detail to allow tender of construction.

Cap Breton, Ringwood, Hampshire

Rear Single Storey Extension, Loft and Garage Conversion

Currently under construction on site.

This is a residential project that required structural engineering calculations and design as well as SAP calculations to complete the Building Regulations Application. Works include:

- Rear Single Storey Timber Frame Extension

- Converting Garage from Flat Roof to Pitched Roof

- Loft Conversion into Master Bedroom, Dressing Room and Bathroom,

- Internal Alterations
